While attending the 2011 Rigsby family reunion,
it was brought to my attention that another Rigsby cousin has started her own Rigsby website.
After much consideration, I have decided to relinquish my duties of webmaster of Rigsby websites, to the newly elected president of the Rigsby Family reunion committee,
Dana Martin
Having two different Rigsby family websites
is not in the best interest of our family organization
and I feel that information needs to be readily
available for all family members to locate,
in just one website,
and not scattered throughout the
World Wide Web.
Dana has done a beautiful job on her web site,
which started out as a school project,
and her website has blossomed into what it has
become an easily accessible
and very valuable tool
for all of the Rigsby's to navigate.
Since Dana has accepted the position of
president of the
Rigsby Family reunion committee,
she is in the perfect position
to take over the
webmaster duties
and I’m sure that she will continue
to post important information
in regards to our
“Rigsby Roots”
It has been an honor & pleasure being the
web-keeper of our family information
for the last 4 years.
Thank you to everyone who supplied me information
for the websites, it was very much appreciated.
I look forward to seeing what fresh new idea’s that
Dana has in store for all of us Rigsby cousins
and the future Rigsby reunions.
